Crawl Budget
Crawl budget is the number of pages a search engine agrees to crawl on a site within a given period.
On a small site, this limit never becomes an issue. On a site with thousands of pages, a poorly used budget can leave important pages rarely crawled, and therefore poorly indexed.
Removing useless pages, fixing chained redirects, and keeping a site fast frees up budget for the pages that actually matter.
